I was at Nevis in the West Indies over New Years in January 2018 with my metaphysical family. We received an introduction to the Jade Machine and I opted for training. Subsequently, I invested in a Jade Machine and yes, I am now practicing.
I knew I was going to have the morning to mySelf and so I prepared to take full advantage and get a lot done. I mean, A LOT.
I gave mySelf my first Jade Esthetics treatment! After Nevis I spent time practising in Michigan and felt that self service would not be effective. I recently changed my mind and hence this morning I gave it a go.
Where do I begin?
I possibly did too much for a single session. This is high frequency, Tesla technology we’re talking about and the body can only accept a certain amount at one time.
Over the past week I had noticed that I was getting a bit smelly in the armpits. This is unusual for me, as I have mentioned in a video I did on deodorant earlier in the year.
My body has been telling me it’s wanting to fast, however not everything is in alignment yet.
My lymphatic system needs attention and so the first thing I did with the Jade Machine was a basic lymphatic detox. No hint of smelliness after the session, even after a long walk!
I next worked on my face. There is a connection between the tendons in the forehead and the pelvis. This is not something I talk about freely to the public or in depth to many, however I have issues within my pelvis that have caused a wide array of challenges, discomfort and pain being the main distraction.
I was surprised when I found out that this is actually a common issue amongst women and has been termed ‘unexplained pelvic pain’ and ‘pelvic pain syndrome’. This expresses differently in women, which adds to confusion regarding diagnosis.
Due to the holistic nature of my work and my understanding of body mind correlation, I’ve been diligently working on my own pelvic issue using many different techniques.
I’ll come back to this.
I next worked on my jaw and the TMJ muscles – temporomandibular joint. This is another common issue for many people as this muscle group can be responsible for headaches, migraines, misalignment, grinding, arthritis, posture etc Press your finger firmly in and around the jaw as well as up toward the ear. Are you tender?
I was surprised by what I found in this area and worked to release hardened areas and tense tendons.
I went about the rest of the face, around the cheek area, which released discomfort through the teeth.
When I finished with my face and neck I went to work on my pelvis. I’m aware I have tension in there as a result of childhood sexual abuse. I also had a laparoscopy many years ago, which left me unable to walk any distance for almost a year, due to fear, pain and discomfort.
I have scar tissue in my pelvis as a result of this surgery, plus add in the trauma from my past. This is just a brief understanding of what’s going on in there.
As I worked I was rather surprised by the anxiety that was coming up and wasn’t sure what it was about. I kept breathing and consciously relaxing and suddenly I understood that I was releasing cellular memory from the actual surgery.
After all of this, I cleaned the equipment, packed it away, vacuumed the house, washed the floors, put washing out, brought in a fresh lot of steamed distilled water and then had my supplements and finally sat down with a hot cup of coffee.
Oh! The shifting and stirring within my body was amazing!
For the first time in over a year, I sat and relaxed with minimal discomfort in my pelvis.
While I’d been vacuuming I happened to glance into a mirror as I was moving the cord to another powerpoint and did a double take. After my coffee, I went to have a closer look.
My jaw has realigned! I have an over bite and when I had braces in my teens, the orthodontist talked about how my jaw should be aligned. He never spoke about the TMJ muscles. I also know someone who had surgery to break and reset their jaw in correct alignment!
Over the past 6 mths I have been consciously relaxing my jaw and feeling it shift into a more natural position. It didn’t feel comfortable though.
Well, now my jaw is naturally and comfortably sitting where it should be.
I’ve been feeling rather restless and have found that with so much going on in my body I’ve naturally gone into a fast. This tells me my body is wanting to focus on processing change and releasing.
I ended up going for a long walk and could feel further shifts and realignments occurring. I was still restless when I arrived back home and did some stretches to release my psoas muscles and stretch my back. I was surprised by increased flexibility.
This is just day 1 of my first Self Jade treatment! yes, I’ll be observing to see how this develops and how long it holds, however I am already planning my next session.
Much has happened in the 24hrs since my first session. Stay tuned!
